Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of HelperDoc. We have written them in plain language on purpose. If something here is unclear, ask us rather than guessing.

1. What HelperDoc does

HelperDoc reads official forms, works out what each field is asking for, and fills in values you have already given us. It flags anything it is unsure about instead of guessing. You review the result before anything is written into the document.

HelperDoc is a tool, not an adviser. We do not provide legal, immigration, tax or financial advice, and a filled form is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. You are responsible for what you submit to any authority.

2. Checking your own forms

Every value we fill in is shown to you before you download the document. Fields we are not confident about are marked so you can look at them. By using HelperDoc you accept that checking the finished form is your responsibility.

We do not guarantee that a form will be accepted by the authority you send it to. Acceptance depends on your circumstances, the evidence you attach, and rules we do not control.

3. Your account

• You must be at least 18, or old enough to enter a contract where you live.
• Keep your password to yourself. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has it.
• One person per account. Do not share sign-in details.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account, unless it is the result of something we did wrong.

4. Credits and payment

HelperDoc runs on credits. Reading a form and reviewing the result costs nothing. Credits are charged when a form is filled, and the price is shown before you confirm.

• Credits do not expire.
• If a fill fails through a fault on our side, the credits go back automatically. You do not need to ask.
• Correcting a value and refilling the same document costs one credit, not a fresh charge.
• Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred between accounts.

Under EU consumer law you normally have 14 days to change your mind about a digital purchase. That right ends once you start using the credits you bought. Unused credits can be refunded within 14 days of purchase.

5. What you may not do

• Upload documents you have no right to use.
• Use HelperDoc to produce forged, altered or misleading documents, or to misrepresent yourself to any authority.
• Attempt to break, overload, reverse engineer or work around limits on the service.
• Resell access to HelperDoc without a written agreement with us.

We may suspend an account that does any of the above.

6. Your documents stay yours

You keep all rights to the documents you upload and to the filled versions you download. We claim no ownership over them. We process them only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Availability

We aim to keep HelperDoc running, but we do not promise it will never be unavailable. Maintenance, third-party outages and faults happen. Where an outage stops a fill from completing, the credits are returned.

8. Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, HelperDoc is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including a missed deadline, a rejected application or a lost opportunity. Our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period.

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

9. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from your profile. That erases your documents and saved details. Records of payments and credits are kept without your name attached, because accounting law requires it.

We may close an account that breaks these terms. Where we do so without cause, we refund unused credits.

10. Changes to these terms

If we change anything that materially affects you, we will tell you by email before it takes effect. Carrying on using HelperDoc after that means you accept the change.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, you can bring a claim in the courts where you live, and you keep the protections of your own country's consumer law.
